Yet anime Maka was still more powerful than Black Star in the end and had to save the rest of the cast, Maka is much weaker in the manga since the author clearly preferred Black Star and wanted to fellate him instead, but the anime's director liked Maka better so the anime original parts ended up shitting on Black Star hard which is fine by me
