I just finished the collab story and it was honestly pretty mid. Boring wordslop again about fucking Penacony NPCs of all things and the mute section felt like they didn't want to pay the VAs more or something. Only thing I liked was the part about Saber's past and TB what-if.

Phainon hasn't been handled well at all, his entire arc is in the patch coming out in 5 hours. He's actually handled worse than Aventurine because he has 1690 lines prior to developing in any way as a character. He has wasted our time with his presence. His relationships have barely developed and his resolve only stiffens for the sake of plot.

Yeah I agree, I don't exactly love any of them whereas Sparkle, Acheron, Aventurine, Sunday, Robin, Firefly were all pretty likable.

Phainon isn't #1 to Mydei either (that's his country), I think it's fair. I just think fujos got too cocky trying to make them seem like soulmates when it was never that deep. Granted I don't think Phainon/Cyrene will be deep either. You both can get fucked I guess
