I try to make what I would want to play. I have played a few eroge with gameplay enough that complimented the scenes. Like, whatever "work" you put in helped make that pay-off feel more earned and thus more exciting or whatever. I have a notion that the gameplay would bring you closer to what party members you fight with, so when you socialize with them and eventually fuck their ass or whatever, it's a more heightened experience. The real agony is the whole "failing to win" problem. If you're throwing the fight to get a scene, what's the point of the fight?
