It is absolutely Grey Kinghts but xcom
You even have an engineer who button heads with the scientist
It's great
No retarded xcom dice rolls to hit,
Guns do full damage to a target out of cover
Half damage to targets in half cover
No damage to targets in full cover unless you have a greater than 45 degree aiming angle on them from the side
Great aesthetics, doesn't go for AAA realism UE slop by a nice stylised slightly cartoony look that works, nails grim dark 40k (thoughbeit I am a book and vidya only secondary)
Better than nu xcom in every way 3xcept mission variety, of which there is only maybe 3-4 regular mission types and a bunch of set piece story missions
Strong recommend
