Protip: If you shoot someone, you can just turn 360 degrees and walk away. It's the police's job to investigate the homicide, not yours. All you have to do is call 911 for an ambulance (don't say "I just shot someone" or they will send the cops) to show that you did your due diligence. That should bide you enough time to lawyer up and let him handle everything else. The guy in webm related did exactly that, and he got let off the hook by a grand jury while remaining anonymous. The ONLY time I would ever briefly speak to the cops after shooting someone is if it was a home invasion and there were clear signs of forced entry, etc. Even then, I would call my lawyer first to get coached on what to say.

Just do what guy in webm related did and leave the scene immediately without identifying yourself. Let your lawyer handle everything. It's the police's job to investigate the homicide. If they question why you fled the scene, just say you were highly stressed and panicked after you protected yourself from a deadly theat.

I guess you were living under a rock during the whole Kyle Rittenhouse thing.
