I have been watching police cam videos. And the one big mistake all of the criminals make is that they talk to the police and thereby incriminate themselves. If you deal with police you should know you should never under any circumstances talk to the police. Even if you're innocent. When they say anything you say and do will be used against you in court they mean it. In this country, America, you have the right to remain silent. Other countries like Italy don't give you that right. It's your right so use it. Your interactions with the police should be as follows:
>Am I under arrest?
If yes say nothing, the place to defend yourself is in court at trial, not with the police.
if no:
>Am I being detained?
If yes say nothing until you are either released or placed under arrest, refer to above if you are under arrest.
And finally say:
>I have nothing to say.
or
>I don't talk to the police
If you say absolutely nothing, the police will do their thing, then leave.

Don't argue with the police, don't fight with the police. Police are the Devil. Just say nothing. They can't convict you for saying nothing. It is your right to remain silent.
