It probably will end up in an alliance between the Moriya and the Asama Shrine.
- Publicly, the alliance is framed as a reunion of long-lost comrades. For the Moriya Shrine, aligning with Youkai Mountain's own landlady solidifies their own authority and creates a real power bloc on the mountain. They might use this to bully the tengu around.
- Personally, Yuiman might trigger a sourness from Kanako when it comes to Lunarians. She mayhaps will act as Yuiman's guide to the modern world.
- Kanako's new domains (technological advancement for one) and Ariya's own domain clash. Yuiman is the connection here. This is the political heart of the alliance. Their personalities and philosophies are different. Kanako is a forward-thinking modernist who treats faith like a market to be conquered. Iwanagahime is a being of permanence, rooted in the traditions of a bygone age, whose goals are driven by ancient principles and personal grudges.
- Suwako's position is unique. She is less emotionally invested than Kanako but no less intelligent. Suwako is a native earth deity, much like Iwanagahime.
- Sanae can relate to Yuiman's status as a former human elevated to divinity.
