Silksong will be my first 100% no questions asked Day 1 buy ever.
It hits all the boxes to be so.
-Not $50 or greater
-No need to worry whether steam deck verified
-No need to even wait for reviews to worry whether it will be good (even for Elden Ring I didnt buy it till an entire year later, despite fromsoft producing my number 1 game ever, because every subsequent game theyve released thats not bloodborne, proves ds1 was a fluke.)
-Its one of those sequels that can only really be better than the first game because not only was the first game unfinished. But it was also incredibly one dimensional (As my tastes ive developed ive grown tired of the "ACTION ACTION COMBAT COMBAT EVERYTHING" game. I value much more now, strong adventure aspects, meaning: Puzzles/Problem Solving, Traversal/Platforming, Navigation/Exploration (although retards think exploration = open world garbage) these are what I consider the cores of adventure. INTERACTIVE OBJECTIVE adventure not "feels like adventure" where retarded games with zero interactivity beyond a menu (ff7, ff9) can feel like adventure to retards) and the sequel seems to be expanding movement options and focusing more on level specific platforming "gimmicks" to vary and engage more traversal mechanics. And while HK technically meets one of those criteria with Navigation, I realized a fatal flaw with its world design when cleaning up some side stuff on a revisit of the game. So I think it needs a tiny bit more than that.

What reason do i have to not Day 1 buy?
