it varies by person. I don't count dip for my veggies. I buy reasonable dip and let the number come out the wash. I eat 500g of carrots and not stress about tracking the dip. If the dip is screwing me then my weight doesn't go down and I lower my daily calories. I haven't done the math, but not much is beating the calories/g on that. I'll eat 750g of peas too, just fills me up. The real killer is veggie choice. Edamame is very high calorie/g and the protein gain isn't worth it.
