In my ideal scenary, i'd become a nanomachine grey goo omni, I'd assimilate part of the countryside, enough for me to leave earth and move to space, then gorge myself with the rest of the solar system, galaxy and universe, until ther is only me. Once mankind is able to advance to space, they'll have the whole cosmos for themselves, to live as gods to shape everyhing as needed (with myself as the absolute ruler, but why do I need to bother with what happens to a planet or two?)
