Not a really high bar when every obscure side character gets mobile game cameos and merch. Hell, even the random villain characters from Tails Adventure are in that Sonic mobile card game and barely anybody about them

Say what you want about Zavok or Sage, but they've been in more mainline games than any of the IDW characters. Objectively speaking, they matter more to the Sonic franchise than Surge, Tangle and Whisper combined
