At least Last Hope looks pretty and has an interesting map, and even if target ID gets old it gives you something to do
Transfer Orders (M10) is just so, so tedious up until the drone fight at the end, and even then it only exists to teach you how to fight Mihaly so you can just swat it if you know what you're doing
Even a plane game can struggle to make a good escort mission

He's great
It helps that he's a breath of fresh air too, most AC enemies are either effective but solemn or ineffective madmen, Torres and the Gleipnir captain are effective madmen
I wouldn't want more AC villains like him necessarily, but I'm glad to know villains like him can be done well
