Don't get the Death Star. Especially not just to make a review. Buying it is rewarding the company for these ridiculously expensive sets.

It's more reasonable but still expensive, there's a lot to talk about for a review. If you just want the set for yourself though, consider getting the minifigs off PaB and buying the bricks separately to build your own castle. The set honestly looks a bit plain and doesn't have as much space inside as you'd think. I mean compare it to picrel in terms of aesthetics. But if you can get it on sale probably go for it, it's got lots of basic bricks for MOCing with even if you don't like the build.
