Went to grab the old man hint loot and noticed the Thatcher fight was randomly available for me now, without having to wheel and deal. He hits like a truck, but shiou can tank him pretty good since he only gets one hit. Having to win the fucking gambling minigame everytime makes me not want to farm the bondmate to 5 though.
