Do retards here really want FromSoft to cave in and make their Souls games' narrative the same kind of bland, in your face stories we already have in virtually every other game?
This is like the one thing that set their games apart from the rest, it actually gives these games a semblance of identity, regardless if you like it, hate it, or are indifferent to it
The very fact that making a thread about one line of dialogue or one item description in Elden Ring or any other Souls game, generates so much discussion, whether positive or negative, is proof that they are clearly doing something right, or at least different here.
In comparison, I'm not seeing a whole lot of threads about the riveting Hollywoodian story of the TLOU games.
Even in Sekiro, where the story is a bit more "classic" and straightforward, it still retain that mystical aura.
