I was so pissed

Recently had a fire in my building from a unit on the floor below me. No damage to any of my stuff but there was a shit ton of smoke in my unit and my PC was on at the time breathing all that shit in. Landlord says cleaners are coming by on monday to get the smoke smell out of everything and he said they said to leave electronics behind so they can bag them and clean them. Should I actually let them take my PC to clean or should I just do it myself? My biggest concern is the 6900xt in there I paid $200 over msrp on and lost the proof of purchase for. Cursory look inside the case there's a few scattered soot flakes in there but not as much as I thought. if I take it out before they take the case, clean it myself, and then it winds up not working later do you guys think insurance will be like "we're not paying for that we didn't see it in there when the cleaners took it" ? I haven't turned it on since the fire I'm scared to until it gets cleaned, but I probably should before they come so I can try and salvage data right?
