There is damning evidence if you bothered to read. I cropped the part of the FMECA document that mentioned all the failure modes and added highlights. As an aside, it's funny that it says the P320 passed NATO drop tests but failed "customer tests" instead (ie, the infamous Youtube drop fire tests). The second and third highlighted rows from the top state that the p320 has a striker safety lever to prevent unintended striker contact and the sear has dual sear springs to prevent unintended striker release.

Both of which can fail, since:
>the striker safety lever can fail from normal movements as shown in the FBI P320 Report.
>the dual sear springs can tangle within each other, potentially causing impaired performance as these springs are responsible for keeping the sear in place holding the striker foot.

If (when) both of these fail, the gun fires and you get your dick blown, and not in the good way. Keep in mind this document was made in the 16th of February, 2017. Well before all the Sigcidents, replicable tests and reports came out. Guess they're eating shit right about now.
