What you're getting at. Is, an infinite number of monkeys with infinite typewriters and infinite time, would eventually type out the complete works of Shakespeare. Like, you're saying it's inevitable that a planet that's given enough time will eventually invent some type of superwarp drive. But, nah. Surely. I don't think tech would scale like that. Linear progression, always going up. Gosh knows how many millennia that people lived as cavemen until they were spurred on by seeing a freaking spaceship in their sky. They're an isolated society. Other than Voyager. No outside influences. Maybe they just hit a brick wall in their tech advancement.
