Granted, I DO have some complaints, mainly around the obvious stuff like enviromental or staggered enemy damage still being 2 masks, long runbacks at times, and the shard system feels a bit counterintuitive at times. Occasionally the game felt like a chore where I need to kill a boss or do a section to get back to the "fun" parts, but overall still a solid 9/10 and by far the biggest metroidvania i've ever played at least in size.
Someone start giving out good Metroidvania recs, already played the big ones like Nine Sols, Ori, Dust, give me some good shit that's under the radar I want to play as many as I can while I still have ideas to make my own, Silksong finally made me realize how cool act-based structures/Inverted Castles" can be for a metroidvania (well the OG inverted castle was amazing, but act 3 was the first thing that gave me a similar feeling) and I'm working on how I'd like to do my own
