No. I mean JESUS LITERALLY NEVER DIED ON THE CROSS. HE WAS A NORMAL HUMAN AND SIMPLY SURVIVED CRUCIFIXCTION (which is why his followers and maybe he himself were so convinced of the resurrection)

Think about it: what exactly causes you to die when crucified? Being left for days or weeks slowly dying of dehydration and lack of oxygen and strain while up there and being picked at by carrion. The death is meant to be slow and agonizing.
