This is a lower the fucking difficulty situation
I am dumbfounded and have been for as long as the game has been out why everyone is playing on the HIGHEST DIFFICULTY as if it was the default??
It would be fine if the playerbase was just that good but in this case 95% of the players are utter IGN journalist tier dogshit at the game so what gives? Why pick the highest difficulty and ask for nerfs when it's highly difficult to complete?
Back when I was last binge gaming coop games in the L4D 1 and 2 heyday playing on the highest difficulty was just considered mostly annoying and sadistic, it's still this way for single player games!! I guarantee most of these fags crying for nerfs would never play Witcher 3 on Dead March or Doom on whatever the most annoying level there is in that game.
And there are communities out there where when you ask for nerfs on Reddit you get told that you are shit at the game, exactly why you are shit at the game and that you should just git gud lol(like Ultrakill for example)
Yet here telling some guy to go back to D9 for a spell to learn the new enemies is equivalent to calling someone a nigger in real life?? Crazy
My theory is that is once again because of peak Swedish design that represents the difficulty select as progression rather than just mission selection
>Difficulties go from left to right
>Have to complete easier missions to "UNLOCK" harder ones
>More rewards
>No indication what the mode changes, just congratulations you made it timmy!
I guarantee if the slider want up to D6 and everything above was like a "modifier" that you could select and that would tell you exactly why it's harder point by point - we would not be in this situation where every shitter wants to play D10 and cry to Sweden when they get their ass chewed by bugs who now miss only 50% of attacks rather than 80%.
