It would actually be pretty funny if we got a caged Terminid stratagem where the cargo Pelican drops a Charger in a crate. It can either be simple where it attacks everything (except Terminids, so doesn't work there) or a special version with like sensory implants and additional armour that make it friendly to Helldivers and you can ride it like you can normal Chargers but it won't throw you off.

you're expected to buy your own gear and maintain/upgrade the super destroyer. Req slips and medals are basically scrip which you can only use at the company store, and anything you buy is attached to the super destroyer. Your individual helldiver doesn't actually "own" anything, which is why when they die the super destroyer and all their equipment is transferred to the next helldiver that gets thawed. Super Credits are like your "personal wealth" that you can use for whatever. I'm not sure how flame EAT bomblet works, does it have proximity sensor like ABRL? I noticed you can either aim at the enemy or ground for concentrated attack, or above them for bomblet dispersal.

Warstriders maybe flesh mobs.
Warstriders are better off sniped from a mile away or plinked with thermite. Theyre just bait for rockets and you don't really do anything interesting to fight them. They have a flashy attack pattern which holds down a choke, but it just pushes you away from them to snipe them.
Flesh mobs just suck. They have awful telegraph, and they don't act consistently. You don't really do much with them outside of shoot them a bunch. War striders at least force you to respect their fire, and have really good telegraph. They might be annoying but they're fair.

The flesh mob just sorta goes around until you hit the damage quota.
They also have a weird explosion immunity, and don't actually transfer explosion damage properly from grenades. Meaning that the nades you throw typically only do double their damage to their health bar due to their internal explosion damage modifier.

The trick is to hit four and treat it like a slow rpm jar.
They can fuck the new bugs pretty hard and I've had fun headshotting stalkers with throwing knives as of late. It's kinda like what melee wishes it could be, where it's not gonna be extremely useful outside of the stagger and pen. But it's cathartic just nailing a bug in the face with a knife.
You also have a ton of them so you can be retarded and keep throwing (they throw faster if you keep throwing, which is why I recommend hitting 4)

You won't be doing much, but like your build can usually spare a dumb fun weapon, and you'll get the most use out of it.

The bug is essentially that the host is the center point for 'status effects' working properly, stuns, gas, flame DoTs for the big obvious ones. If you're too far from the host (anons claim about 100m) then status effects start to get really finnicky whether they work or not, including just outright not working which is why you might watch something like a little Scavenger run through a wall of fire and not die.

In my experience direct stun applications like the Halt or Stun Grenades SHOULD work fine, if a little delayed, even if you're far from the host but stun fields like from the EMS Strike or EMS Mortar can suffer from enemies just running right through them.

Leviathans beat you over the head with the fact that they're a hazard more than an enemy, so the best option is to just ignore them and go about your day. Not only is this bad design, they also punish you for doing this through pure RNG by just deciding to kill you. A lot of things in the game have similar problems where you can die bullshit deaths but there's some sort of interaction that lead to it. Stealth charger shit on you from behind? You could have looked behind you. Shot down from 100 to 0 in a single burst from an MG Raider? Well the little shitbag is easily killable and slow so just run behind a corner and/or just shoot him.

What do you do if you're out in the open and a Leviathan starts looking at you? Obviously putting something between you and it is one solution, but what then? It's not like you can deal with it in a reasonably fast manner unless you dedicated gem slots for AT in a faction that doesn't care about armor. And even if you did, it respawns instantly. The correct option is to sit and wait until it loses interest which is boring, or take a gamble and just weave between its shots and hope it doesn't land a direct hit which will instantly kill you.

I don't dislike the idea of them but the implementation, particularly in unlimited spawns, is a real kick in the nads. I think the idea of what is functionally a mobile mortar camp is interesting, a big airbound threat that can engage you at distances well outside the norm for enemies is fun, but other than spawns the main issue with Leviathans is they're incredibly passive and just float around the map without often putting themselves in a position to BE counterattacked. Yes they're slow but if you just sit behind a wall long enough they'll fuck off and that's that problem solved by itself, there's very little to actually engage with even when its attacking you unlike the gigadigga worms that force you to respect them unless its doing a bile attack because those are pathetically weak pls buff them AH.
I hope they see the positive reception of Hive Lords being the same kind of killable-stage-hazard and rework Leviathans because I do enjoy going out of my way to kill one or two of them when I play squids but I'd much rather they fucking stay dead. As-is its a waste of time to even take them out because another one's going to come floating up your asshole any second.

Plus them being so heavily-armoured for what is traditionally the light/no armour faction is certainly a design decision of all time, I would have expected there to at least be some medium armour spots to exploit or whittle away at instead of all heavy armour. Like those glowing circles on their underside? If those were medpen it'd reward players getting into position to hit them where they're weak, crossing the long sightlines it has and still having to dodge its bomb drops.

The damage hitbox from the dragonroach spit doesn't match the visual effect. The area of effect that lights you on fire afterwards is unclear as the ground has looked fine but I spontaneously combust anyway.
