he adopted loona so hed have someone to love unconditionally, but even there its less a daughter/father relationship (as hed like you to believe) and more a master/pet one
he is the one in charge, he is the ”boss”, so he can afford to shower her in shallow affection, as it is not an equal relationship
its quite obvious the guy has massive issues and if vivzie werent a complete hack, she would paint them as being what they actually are, BAD, aka character flaws
unfortunately, the world bends over backwards to not hurt the little soot rats sensibilities and he does the same mistakes again and again and learns nothing from them
in real life a guy like him would eventually grate too much on the nerves of the people around him and end up miserable and alone
