Sakura Chiyono O is technically Maruzensky's son IRL, hence why both admire each other as a kouhai/senpai thing in the Uma universe.
Maruzensky also spawned several children, between Special Week, Rice Shower, Winning Ticket, Curren Chan and Mejiro Bright (with Daring Tact being the RL great-great-great-granddaughter). She's not called grandma for nothing.
