Oh I LOVED date to die for. I think I may like the first game more but I think DTF is a good buy if you like the first game. I don't recall anyone having issues with Rhok'zan (goat) whenever negatives get brought up and she is a favorite to a lot. I think a lot of criticisms about DTF are mostly about people liking the protag from First Date more, which is fair, and a lack of body horror compared to what Darling went through. DTF definitely has some good horror elements. The monster from the first chapter still freaky as all fuck and the game can be great at making you feel unease to put it vaguely. Game really shines with its cast. Especially between Rhok'zan and the main protag.
