Did you go see the 4k restoration in a cinema on the 18th? It was Texas Chain Saw Day.
Do people not read about movies before they go see them? Not even see a trailer? They did use a record breaking amount of fake blood for the Evil Dead remake.
Not too kid friendly, the original would've been more suitable.
