Has anyone read Sukedachi 9?
It's a story where Instead of just getting the death penalty, the worst criminals are executed in the same way they killed their victims.
It's about as nuanced as you'd expect from a japanese story about the death penalty.

Also the author is Kishimoto's twin brother, which I find funny for some reason.
