My greatest regret is not capitalizing on some of the hotter girls who obviously liked me. We had this program at our junior high where people could send each other roses for Valentine's day for $2. I got one from her, but I thought I was being targeted and made fun of. It was a stupid thing to think though, because she was friends with the people I started hanging out with.
She was hot, but she had a reputation for being mean, but I was just way way way to big of a pussy to go for someone like that.

Later (or earlier?) we went on a school trip as peer chaperones, meaning we were supposed to be looking out for the people in the younger grades. Her and I were paired up as partners, and our goal was to watch an empty hallway in the middle of the night to make sure the younger kids didn't sneak out of their hotel rooms. We laid on the ground, she was on her elbows and I was on my back looking up at her. We each had one ear of the same earbuds, we were listening to some mid-2000s comedy sketch guy. I turn on my side and put my face a bit closer to hers. She "didn't react" but you could tell that she stopped moving and was staying in place. We were close enough to be breathing the same air.

On the bus ride back home, we talked quite a bit and she rested her head on my shoulder. We didn't hang out much after that, and she went to a different high school next year.
