The problem with japshit is that it's all theatrical and drama focused.
The way they write this shit is like this:
>Situation means normally people would do X
>Hmm... ok so then we should make the characters do the exact OPPOSITE of X and then they shout and finally it is revealed through some contrived bullshit that the oppositte of X was actually the right thing to do...

It's really annoying once you notice the pattern. Even the pseudoporn doesn't quite make up for it.
