I hope they revise the requirements for act 3. Arbitrarily needing to do all of the quests is just a time sink. It's good during your first playthrough, you'll need those quests as breadcrumbs to discover all of the locations and you'll adequately get powered-up for the challenges of Act 3, but if I'm going to replay the game needing to do all of that is just daunting.

This isn't totally thought out, but I think locking Act 3 behind completing Mount Fay is all that should be necessary for the Act 3 quest to be offered to you. That's all you really need to DO Act 3.
