(Part 2. Sorry for length. I’ve been holding this since my ban. I think I’m beginning to like Jax more than Stolas.)

There’s a reason Jax is the least hated and most defended character of all time. He has no haters. Only people who hate mentally ill people and women (of course) hate Jax. Jax is a genius. His actions aren’t cruel, they’re misunderstood coping mechanisms. When he lashes out or manipulates, it’s because he can’t help it, because he’s trapped in a world that doesn’t get him. Nothing he does is “wrong” — it’s survival, it’s nuance, it’s trauma, and if you don’t get that… you clearly haven’t read the show properly.

I’ve literally cried for hours thinking about him being stuck there, with people who don’t see how tragic he is. If he were real, I would hug him and never let go. I would tell him he’s loved, that the world doesn’t understand him, and that he deserves everything beautiful and kind. And anyone who says otherwise? They’re a Pomni. They’re cruel, blind, and unable to recognize genius and pain when it stares them in the face. Stolas is usually the character I cling too, but I’m starved of him. And right now…holy hell am I obsessed with Jax.

Jax is the only character who matters. Everything else can abstract tomorrow, I don’t care. He deserves the world, and I will defend that with my life. We see you, my bun. We see you, and it’s going to be okay.
