i did this in ms paint with the line tool and scaling the circle with the box select tool on that original circle. and ellipse is a circle in perspective and this is how the lines spread out when you tilt it.

read a perspective book seriously, this is the first thing any prebeg should do, before you even draw a box, you need to understand the reason why you're drawing your lines where you are.
