wtf are you talking about? i have never complained about budgets. budget is not an excuse. if you can slap together that much of a 3d game, you make ONE actual level in your spare time.

yes, "get from A to B". thats it. thats all the objective that you need, and they do that. thats not the point. the point is that they either waste time with tertiary skatepark shit that doesnt matter, or they make the path/controls the dullest garbage imaginable while trying to claim how "good" it is. all they're doing to closing their eyes and coasting with their hand out the car window. theres literally nothing there. the "physics" isnt whats missing from sonic, and NONE OF THEM can illustrate it "working" without it being the dullest garbage. its just the thrill of the whoosh. thats it. and then why they do try to populate with "enemies and hazards" like srb2, they just completely avoid it by flying over everything. the thrill of the whoosh. thats it.
