Gay here. Think about how some women get hysterical without men in their lives. That's what gay is - deprivation of male love.
It takes root with the mother, who uses her son to get her own emotional needs met (gives him too much attention or too little). The infant son builds contempt towards his mother which is then naturally projected onto the father. Then he suffers rejection from peers because of his growing effeminacy from lack of male love. This obviously happens to varying degrees and sexual abuse does come into it but from what I can gather fatherless boys are easy targets, so it could be that sexual abuse doesn't always *cause* it..
A strong clued-up father can intervene and try to pull his son into the male world but if mother is narcissistic she's probably with a weak man in the first place, who isn't satisfying her emotional needs. Effectively she is pushing her hysteria onto her son and trying to set him apart as her confidant.
I try to abstain from gay stuff but it gets very difficult if you don't have men in your life you can trust. Sometimes i can't sleep because my heart is pounding out of my chest because of the anxiety from not having masculine love. I try to make male friends but most men in my mind are self-serving pigs. Contempt is the issue.
