I have noticed an uptick in methods to discredit via mockery, particularly on 4chan.
Don't get me wrong, this does organically happen hear, and if people get fatigued of a subject (what, you thought the obviously funded liberal fatigue was organic) they will crack jokes.
But the lazy dismissiveness (almost like it was shat out by an LLM) is beyond insane especially when 4chan is where people dug into the matter.
And while 4chan can do good work they also can get sidetracks and the thread can get flooded with retards who spew a .jpg as gospel truth over actual research.
And if you give 4chan a sexy enough conspiracy, they will run with that. After all CERN and the partical accelerator are super creepy bro.
But military testing psychological Operations for a low stakes data study and a corporation agreeing to play along? Boring....
Well boring until you put more peices together. But if you can destract with a more entertaining conspiracy, get a few people at CERN to play along with vague creepy posts, then you neutralize resistance without a single shot fired.
And if you can control the past and control present discorse, you can steer the future
