you should totally go for it, no idea about the suspension though I'm no expert, for me, they just werk

got back from a 30 miles ride with plenty of normies around, never again, got so many looks because of my MTB helmet, I just want to be safe, plus it's damn cool, I'll post the picture later, here's the bike after I de-boomified it

got shorter mud guards, I've lifted the saddle an inch and installed a 300° tail light(I use fixed mode because I'm not an idiot), wide angle front light(fixed light as well), mounted some kickass pedals, added a ringbell and I was wearing a merino wool base layer light weight long sleeve shirt with a windbreaker jacket on top, the balaclava under the helmet was a bit too much but it worked wonders when I stopped to cool down, the new photochromatic sunglasses work well too, but to find the right clothing for the colder weather is a real exploration, I try to do a month research before buying so I get as close as possible on the first shot, so for now I'm focusing heavily on clothing for the chiller seasons, as far as safety hardware and comfort hardware I'm stacked

that being said, just make sure the motor is Bosch because Shimano motors are not making any money and that department is shutting down(the motor is erratic and just weird), possibly with shimano Deore group because that's very sturdy and great for a first bike
