Zoomers ruined shoegaze. Went to see Whirr and Nothing last night and predictably it was a very young crowd. Most completely obsessed with holding their phone up recording the entire set blocking the view of the people behind them.
Maybe it's just lack of concert etiquette in general since covid, but shoegaze attracts the most undesirable people imaginable now. I waited 15 years to see Whirr live and these zoomer faggots ruined it. Never going to a concert again.
