Positively for sure. For a majority of zoomies (I am talking about those born in the early 2000s specifically) it was THE definitive childhood handheld.
The only negative parts I remember was that you were shit out of luck if you didn't have much to play. That can also be attributed to owning any other console when you're a kid really, but when you only get new video games on your birthday/or Christmas, there are only so many times you can play Mario Kart 7 and constantly stalk the eShop for anything free.
Watching Youtube videos on it was also cool, even if it was on a tiny 240p screen.
