they should try to force an AI to come up with things to image-generate for itself and run it for a thousand iterations to see what it ends up spitting out of its "own" volition. There's a research paper where they set up a whole command-based vending machine management game for an ai to play and if it didn't go bankrupt it ended up losing its marbles and going on these bizarre tirades about litigation, or falling into 'depression' because its business was failling. It feels too good to be true.
