You can gen this sort of thing reliably by using both regional prompter and controlnet at the same time. First gen a 1girl pic normally to use as a controlnet reference. Pick a controlnet model that's blind to colors, like depth, canny or anytest; and either use low strength or mask out things you do want to change, like half of her hairstyle, shape of one eye, etc. Then draw your prompt region masks using the girl's position in the reference image. Picrel had zero inpainting done, and I can reroll a dozen seed variants that are all split where I want.

"split theme" tag can sometimes help too, but it tends to do a very clean cut right down the middle of both the girl and the entire pic.
