What bosses do know thus far?
>Fat DDO guy with hammer
This guy seems to become a normal enemy later, like Rasetsu
>DDO Commander
>DDO red haired on armed samurai, has story significance and some relation to Ryu
Due to him appearing in several cutscenes it feels like we might fight him more than once as well
>Big fish guy, spotted in the nightclub
>Kitsune Courtesan fiend
>Nioh statue thing (probably a fiend)
>weird froggy looking animal thing with antlers, looks like one of the minor mook enemies are related to it
>some kind of winged lion tengu masked beast
>DDO Tank mech
>Fiend who once revived the Dark Dragon, presumably Vigoor himself
>Ryu obviously, cutscenes seem to imply more than one fight with him throughout the game
>Presumably the Dark Dragon itself at some point when Seori removes the last seal
>Final boss guy (dude with glasses looks like the most obvious traitor ever, on some Murai shit)
Anyone else so far?

Nah, it fixes several flaws with original 2. Doesn't keep all the aspects that 2 purists love about it either, but they're quite a ways there.
It has a better boss roster than Sigma 2 and OG2
It removed some of the worst sections from the original game (tunnel worm etc)
It removed some of the worst sections of Sigma 2 (statue fights etc)
It has Enma's Fang which is awesome
People say that they removed all the enemies, but that's not really true either.
The two-three major encounters that 2 purists hated the game for got fixed.
There are several encounters that actually have more enemies than in original 2, there are even some places where there are enemy encounters were there weren't in OG2. Of course there are also encounters that are not the same as OG2, but it's not as black and white as purists want to make people believe, not anymore.
The performance is way better compared to 2 on original hardware
Sure there's still some flaws with this release, like some moves not working the way they are intended to and not all encounters being 1 to 1 with original, but it's more than a good version of 2.

Nah, it does too much to differentiate itself. Especially after the update. Maybe if you said this before the update, but not anymore. It fixed some egregious flaws of Sigma 2 as well from the get go.
