>WBaWC is a topical game, just that its message is intemporal
Personally I don't have the biggest issue with how ZUN's worldly subject of the week was covered in FW but I will agree that timelessness is a huge factor in keeping a message relevant and engaging without alienating those that'd immediately just start calling you preachy. That and subtlety of course but that ground's already been covered.
I'm curious to know what you might think in terms of how FW's overall story and related themes could've maybe been done better then? Or at least better in the ways others believe it could've been, the question is open to anyone really. WBaWC is a great example of a recent ZUN game that managed to do what it did pretty smoothly, if it was just as intemporal then could it have even still worked as it stands?
>I feel like ZUN leaving it to anyone else without clear instructions is a monkey's paw in the making
Also agreed, but what would those "clear instructions" even look like then? You're losing something in the end no matter what when you take out the original guy but it probably wouldn't be as simple as just jotting down a few key themes/ideas.

If anons must know what kind of burgerslop I prefer then I'll at least say I like In-n-Out the most but would get why it might seemed overhyped by anyone who isn't able to try it or isn't a fan. They have really good milkshakes though.
