DID I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE??

love this game so much

hard to put this into words but deeprock has made me really notice how flat every other game is. like when you play l4d all the zombies exist on the floor, with you, and you and the zombies are limited to the floor. flat fights on a 2d plane, most of the time. deeprock, the bugs spawn fucking anywhere they want. they'll crawl over ceilings upside down to get you. they'll crawl up and down vertical the walls to get you. seeing a horde of bugs literally use every single surface of a tunnel to try to get you is incredible. ive not played another game that has enemies with that much freedom of movement, and that movement plays off the procedural cave generation really well
