Nah. can't say I'm happy with RC but I don't want DRG to be turned into Warframe/Destiny. Retire the game and make a sequel instead.
Because not only there are issues with "forever-games" model (such as powercreep, content bloat, content islands, identity crisis. new players integration and so on) but also no matter how much content there is in the game eventually you get tired of its fundamentials.
While the sequel gives you more of the same and a fresh feeling to this "same".

Personally I would love to see a sort of a prequel. Make it dieselpunk with dwarfs covered in grease and oil "degrade" technologies and call it Deep Rock Industries or something. And instead of bug it's some sort of underworld spawn they're fighting against.

hard to put this into words but deeprock has made me really notice how flat every other game is. like when you play l4d all the zombies exist on the floor, with you, and you and the zombies are limited to the floor. flat fights on a 2d plane, most of the time. deeprock, the bugs spawn fucking anywhere they want. they'll crawl over ceilings upside down to get you. they'll crawl up and down vertical the walls to get you. seeing a horde of bugs literally use every single surface of a tunnel to try to get you is incredible. ive not played another game that has enemies with that much freedom of movement, and that movement plays off the procedural cave generation really well

My favorite gunner loadout is Lead Storm minigun, Lead Spray Burst Pistol, and Leadburster grenade. Minigun deals with the hordes, burst pistol handles big targets. Leadbursters are good in general, but 3 of them can instantly kill a bulk detonator.

Someone please post/stream LSLS Gunner clearing Hazard 5-2222 true solo. I tried, couldn't get the loadout to work. Even max damage with armor break, it takes too much time to kill a single even the Stingtail. I feel like LSLS is one of those OCs that the devs simply forget about.

Hell just getting out of the drop pod on modded difficulty on some gamemodes is nearly impossible without a shield.

Ive dumped 3000 hours into this game and the last 1500 was just testing random builds to try and squeeze as much time out of the game as possible before I got bored
the game is easy enough to do whatever you want but the mods are not balanced and or made equal, stuff like dig speed is significantly better than the alternatives

the name of the game on Haz 5 is ammo efficiency and being able to effectively deal with swarms, both of which Driller excels at simply due to the fact that sticky flames is so disgustingly good as an OC they ended up giving a version of it to cryo

all three primaries are insanely good with ammo economy, one flame line/sludge pool/ice trail when properly built turns bugs into a joke and wave cooker is good for killing spitters at range and triggering temperature shock or goo DoT/radiation because of its mods, that and taking full drill speed is entirely redundant because you literally drill faster than your movement speed allows which requires feather tapping and even further heat management just to not end up wasting fuel. If you consistently end up in positions where you have to "drill down" as your absolute best option then you're somehow fucking yourself over

The objectives and faster pace seems interesting, I would've liked to see it in DRG.
I'm not enthusiastic about the equipment selection process being split by up to 4 dudes and people needing to huddle up to actually select power-ups mid-mission. It's a game that benefits more from people knowing to get together at objectives and most of the playerbase for DRG is either acceptably on-point or special needs levels of slow.
It's not going to be casual enough for the playerbase they gathered and we're going to suffer from absolute dogshit public matches, getting a friends list and/or soloing. Not to mention all the ragequitting babies who will see their favorite weapon or the big shiny rarity weapon get picked and throw their tantrum or try to teamkill on their way out the door. We will have an increase in power-tripping hosts.

It's a little hard to use on dreads but once you sort of have the timing down for their attacks you can time it so you can explode the goo while they're stuck in place. Very satisfying combo in general.
