You can only take them as seriously as you'd take an autistic teenager seething over tendies. Their opinions are not reliable indicators of quality, unless you find an expert on things you like or dislike, and you can extrapolate "quality" from there. Sleep Token themselves are okay at best and the 8-string with clean vocals idea needs to be explored more. They're basically pop with baritone/8 string tuning which isnt a bad idea, the logical next step from djent which was done to death 15 years ago. The stuff is bland at worst
