No, those are for collecting, not what I do. Plus the mint that made them shut down years ago, and I would suggest getting a 1 ounce silver one if you can find it, but it will be way above spot price. Silver is about to go gangbusters too. But a silver ounce coin is still going to be way cheaper than an ounce gold coin, and I recommend the ounce size for a collector because its big enough to see the artwork. Its what you call a numismatic piece, meaning the value is in the coins condition, rarity, popularity etc, not so much just the metal.
I know you are probably joking but I am just making idle chat in case those cat coins did interest you. Silver for realistic price, ounce for proper size. They are wonderful coins for a collector but probably as hard to buy as they are too sell. A collection would be something indeed. Every now and then I see something I wouldnt mind collecting but talk myself out of it. Plus I am no good at collecting anyways. I just have bad taste, or unpopular at least.
