I’ve been doing that for a few years now, trying to make my own game since chapter 2 released and inspired me. Didn’t truly get anywhere with it until Chapter 3-4 released and I sat down and figured out what exactly I wanted out of it and stopped changing stuff constantly.
What annoys me is it feels like I don’t spend enough time on it. I can write, I know that, I can program, I can sort of sprite and draw. It’s just that sometimes that drive to work on it isn’t there and it still feels more like a collection of cool ideas than an actual story.
Might just be tired of it after so long. At least it doesn’t rule my life like it used to, working constantly on it to get no where since doing 4-5 hours of work on the same thing everyday for years just drives you crazy and you go in circles.
And people say Toby takes too long…
