>been wanting to get back into drawing after getting a new, modern tablet as a Christmas gift in '23
>started learning the basics as my New Year's resolution for '24
>shit happens in life and I lose the will to be productive
>finally give it another go after finding the motivation to draw again
>try to learn how to draw via construction instead of trying to freehand the final product off the get-go
>picrel is the end result of 10 mins of sketching before I actually try to do lineart
>realize how absolutely shit and infantile my fundamentals for art and drawing is
Old habits really do die hard. Any advice on how to tackle construction or rewiring my brain so I stop drawing like my retarded old teenage self?
