Yes, the Mauryas and Guptas controlled large parts of the subcontinent, but that was never a true, lasting unification of India. Each of those empires fragmented quickly after a few generations, unlike in China where dynasties lasted centuries and the idea of political unity survived collapse. That's exactly the point. India's philosophical and religious foundation never produced the strong will to sustain a centralized state.

Don't worry. your land surveying job isn't going away anytime soon.

Drones, LiDAR, and 3D scanners are improving fast and can handle a lot of data collection from above. But hands-on tasks, digging up markers, hammering stakes, or navigating uneven terrain, still need human dexterity and judgment.

The reason "comfortable desk jobs" are threatened is that AI is like a brain. No matter how smart the brain is, it's useless without a body achines or robots to carry out its commands. Humans haven't yet built AI’s "body," so it cannot replace manual labor. AI can only handle thinking tasks and data-driven calculations for now.
/pol/ - WHY ARE THEY OPPOSED TO POLYGAMY ?
Anonymous South Korea No.512940827
The West already has polygamy

In cities like Birmingham, certain parts of London, or Baltimore and Detroit, the same thing happens over and over, a handful of chads or alpha males sleep with all the women, disappear, and leave entire neighborhoods packed with single mothers. in Latin America, the Caribbean, or parts of Africa, and it's the same story: a few alpha males sleep with all the women, vanish, and the streets fill with fatherless kids. That's western "modern" polygamy.

No joke, Russia basically got their future legally stolen by Europe because of this war.

Yandex, aka "Russia's Google," got crushed hard after the invasion. Their parent company Yandex NV was a Dutch company listed on NASDAQ. When the US and EU forced it off the market, Yandex NV sued and won, then re-listed as Nevyus.

Nevyus publicly roasted Putin and dumped all their Russian assets. They started moving every business out of Russia ASAP. Planned self-driving taxis in Moscow? Cancelled. Their top scientists? Left Russia within weeks.

They’ve got this subsidiary called Toloka, basically Russia's version of Scale AI doing data labeling and quality control. Now cut loose from the “Russia” tag, they’re working with Amazon and getting investment way easier.

Nevyus’ cloud game is leveling up big time. They had a data center in Finland and plan to triple it. Also building GPU clusters in Paris, planning more investments in Kansas. That Finnish data center? Just slapped a new sign on it but they're pumping in a billion bucks and 60,000 GPUs by year-end.

All the best Russian tech brains got shipped to the Netherlands where their R&D team already has 500 nerds and they’re opening a new office soon. They’re also buddying up with Nvidia. Their Q2 earnings just blew up and guidance got boosted.

Once called "Russia's Google," now they’re Europe’s AI underdog. Fun fact: ASML was basically built by Russian engineers, so the Netherlands is riding on Russian brains hard.

So yeah, Russia got played hard by geopolitics, and Europe just straight-up stole their tech future.
