Actually, I honestly think Metroid is the perfect series to go open world. I believe that they can properly implement that, making a "Metroid" feel, yet copy elements of "Mass Effect" into it: focus on the lore and the story and the setting to make it work.

I personally want to explore the lore of Metroid, the planets, and so on.
